Dickie Stafford

dickieHi! My name is Dickie Stafford and I am the warehouse manager here at Bowen Town & Country.

I have been here at Town & Country for over thirty years. I started out as a delivery guy right after college, and have been here ever since. Over the years, I have seen the furniture industry change.

It has gone from big dining room suites and complete bedroom suites to dinette sets and just a mattress set and night stands. That has alot to do with the housing designs. No more formal dining rooms and complete walk-in closets.

I get to see everything that is ordered from Town & Country. All the stock orders and all the special orders come into the warehouse. It is really neat to see all the different choices people make when ordering furniture.

Thanks and hope to see you soon!

Casey Sylvia

caseyMy name is Casey Sylvia and I have been delivering furniture for Bowen Town&Country for 14 years now. Best part of doing deliveries is that you are always going to different place’s and not stuck in just one place. Over the past 14 years I’ve developed some good relationships with some of our customers.

When working in customers home’s I like to make sure that I do my job to the best of my ability so I don’t damage their furniture or things in their homes. I think the Bowen Town & Country delivery crew has been doing a pretty good job over the years by listening to our customer’s say how they prefer us to deliver their furniture in their homes. So if we show up at your door you know things will get done right!

Choosing The Right Furniture For Your Bedroom

Thursday, December 6th, 2012

Have you ever realized that we spend about one third part of our lives in our bedrooms? It is the first place we see as soon as we wake up in the morning. In fact, we carry out all our day-to-day activities in our bedrooms, whether it be reading books, listening to music or simply relaxing on our cozy comfy beds.

Since we do most of the things in our bedroom, then why not make our bedroom a cozy and warm place by selecting the right bedroom furniture. Choosing furniture for your bedroom requires careful planning and many factors need to be considered like bedroom interiors, expenditure, personal taste etc.

Bedroom Furniture Buying Tips

  • Never compromise on quality, even if you have to pay an extra price for it.
  • Go in for a durable piece of furniture and not for the one that is just attractive, but not long lasting.
  • Give due importance to fine craftsmanship, as it will also ensure the durability and save your repair expenses.
  • While shopping for bedroom furniture, place a higher importance on comfort than anything else.
  • Pay attention to what all you do in your bedroom. Are your activities in your bedroom just limited to sleeping or you do perform other activities like reading books while in bed? If that is the case, then you must buy such bedroom furniture that can accommodate a moderate size lamp that can provide you with adequate light to read during the nighttime.
